Happy weekend, folks!
A whole week of this 100 day project now, woohoo! I've enjoyed myself rather a lot and I'm excited for what the week ahead will bring...
You may remember that yesterday's page did not go to plan at all. Off of the back of that, I didn't want the practice piece that had gone well, to go to waste. I didn't want to just cut and paste it into my sketchbook, so instead I decided to tear it up and collage it on there with some soft pastel and charcoal marks in-between and over top.
I don't love how the finished work ended up, but I don't hate it either, the colours are nice. Indifference is quite acceptable. Maybe it will grow on me, maybe it won't, but it really doesn't matter either way. It was an experiment and it's another part of the project complete. That's what matters to me.
